The Fig Tree - A Gift to my Nono

Inspired by a story my Nono shared many times—the story of Jesus and the fig tree—I set out to turn that message into something lasting. This wooden frame is the result: a deeply personal project crafted with care, intention, and love.

Building this frame was no easy task. It was my first time creating a frame from scratch, and every single component was designed, shaped, and assembled by my own hands. As with everything I build, I took my time to ensure it was done to the highest standard I could achieve.

The story of the fig tree was passed down to my Nono by his father, and now, as it’s been passed down to me, I wanted to honor that legacy. With this frame, I share not only a story—but a memory, a tradition, and a piece of my family history—for all who have eyes to see.

This was a challenging project, but one I’m truly proud of. I’m grateful for the journey and the end result.
